# Multi wallet portfolio in the X0 Wallet App

A user generally has multiple portfolios to track, such as savings, everyday spending, DeFi investments, or long-term holds. With most wallets, these portfolios end up as sub-accounts of a single seed phrase. Losing or exposing that one seed phrase puts the funds in every sub-account at risk. Cypherock X0 changes that, just like Cypherock X1. Cypherock X0 allows users to create up to 4 unique wallets, completely segregated from each other. The segregation happens at such a fundamental level that each wallet has its own seed phrase and its own PIN, thereby acting as 4 completely unique hardware wallets in themselves, all managed from the X0 Wallet App on your phone.

### Generate new wallet

Users can generate a new wallet from the X0 Wallet App without the need to create and store recovery phrases. The user chooses a 12, 18, or 24-word seed phrase, sets a PIN for the wallet, and taps all 4 X0 Cards. The wallet is automatically backed up in 5 shards while it is generated.

### Import seed phrase

### Using the X0 Wallet App to manage your portfolio

Every wallet generated or imported on Cypherock X0 appears in the X0 Wallet App. All these wallets are completely segregated and can be used as individual portfolios. Switch to the wallet you want to manage and complete your operation, whether that's tracking its balance, receiving assets, sending a transaction, swapping tokens, or connecting to a dApp.

## Personas

### Everyday user

Many users want to keep their everyday spending separate from their long-term savings. With Cypherock X0, the same set of 4 X0 Cards can hold a spending wallet and a savings wallet, each with its own seed phrase and PIN. Both are managed from the same app, while staying completely independent of each other.

### Personal user

With some wallets, users risk getting hacked by indulging in degen activities. If hackers are able to fetch the seed phrase of the hacked wallet, every account generated from that seed phrase can be drained. Cypherock X0 allows users to generate 4 unique wallets, each with a unique seed phrase. One wallet getting compromised doesn't mean the other three get drained too, simply because they are sandboxed from one another.
